Hany Nasry is a consultant in Restorative Dentistry and a registered specialist in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry.

Having completed a specialist training programme in restorative Dentistry and a Master’s Degree in the same field in Newcastle upon Tyne I was appointed as a locum consultant in Restorative dentistry at the same hospital before being appointed on a full time basis by the Pennine Acute Trust in 2007 where I have been practising as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry in the Head and Neck Department at North Manchester General Hospital and the Royal Oldham Hospital until the present time.

My special interests are implants and periodontal / endodontic surgery.

Sue  qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School (UMDS) in1989. After completing a year’s vocational training at a practice in Ashford in Kent Sue stayed on at the practice providing general dentistry while developing her  interest in orthodontics. Sue then  completed the Postgraduate Orthodontic Training Scheme based in the orthodontic department at Canterbury Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and has continued to provide orthodontic treatment for both NHS and private patients part time since then.

After moving to Manchester in 1997 Sue has continued working part time in orthodontics and part time providing general dentistry in several different practices and enjoys  doing this at First Dental Care.

Ariyan graduated from The University Of Manchester in 2017 where he was president of the student body and society. He completed his foundation training in Cheshire and decided to embark on further hospital based training. In 2019 Ariyan gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Dental Faculty in Edinburgh. His training to date has been in the North West and he is currently a second year senior house officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, where he furthers his Minor Oral Surgery, Surgical and Restorative skills. Alongside the aforementioned duties, Ariyan has an excellent knowledge of managing patients with complex medical histories, dental anxiety and dental phobia. He has a caring, empathic and holistic approach to treating his patients.

The majority of his academic output and research to date surrounds the oral cancer patient and their multidisciplinary reconstruction, this is an area that Ariyan has developed a keen interest in and is aiming to pursue a specialist career in this subject area.

In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking and has a keen interest in performance motorsports. He enjoys cooking and experimenting with foods from around the world as a relaxation method. Ariyan looks forward to the summer months where he travels to unwind and reflect on the busy yearly activities.

Alex enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has undertaken substantial training in a number of specialist fields during hospital posts in Liverpool and Sheffield. His main objective has always been providing minimally invasive restorative dental treatments in a relaxed and friendly manner. Since graduation from Manchester University, he has sought to enhance his expertise by working alongside leading specialists and has gained national and international recognition for research and quality improvement projects. Alex is passionate about sharing his knowledge base and has delivered seminars locally and regionally to undergraduate, foundation dentists and post graduates in a variety of restorative topics.

Alex takes every opportunity to develop and broaden his skills to the benefit of his patients; to date he has completed foundation courses in clinical hypnosis, workshops in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry and is currently undertaking further post graduate training in root canal treatments. He aims to get patients out of pain whilst saving teeth that may otherwise require extracting.

Alex is a football enthusiast and continues to play on a regular basis. In the winter he likes to ski and, in the summer, he likes “attempting” to play golf. Outside of sport he has co-hosted a weekly radio show and enjoys going to music festivals such as Glastonbury and Primavera in his ancestral city of Barcelona.
